These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of and membership at House21, located at Kristian Augusts gate 21, Oslo, Norway ("the Club"). By applying for or holding a membership, booking event space, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
House21 is operated by House21 AS, a company registered in Norway. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.
Membership at House21 is subject to approval. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our sole discretion. Membership is personal and non-transferable.
By becoming a member, you agree to uphold the values and standards of the House21 community. Members are expected to treat fellow members, guests, and staff with respect at all times.
House21 reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership for breach of these Terms or conduct deemed inconsistent with the spirit of the club.
House21 is a cash-free venue. We do not accept cash payments of any kind. All transactions, including food, beverages, event bookings, and membership fees, must be made via card or digital payment methods.
Membership fees are billed in accordance with the plan selected at the time of registration. All fees are quoted in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed automatically on the billing date associated with your membership. It is your responsibility to ensure that valid payment details are on file.
Failure to pay may result in suspension of membership privileges until the outstanding balance is resolved.
All memberships at House21 are subject to a minimum commitment period of three (3) months, as outlined in your membership contract. Cancellations submitted during this initial period will not take effect until the three-month term has been fulfilled, and all fees for the remaining period will remain due.
After the initial three-month period, members may cancel their membership by providing written notice in accordance with the notice period specified in their membership agreement. Cancellation requests should be sent to reception@house21.no.
Membership fees already paid are generally non-refundable. Any exceptions are at the sole discretion of House21 management.
Members and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting a professional and creative community. This includes maintaining a respectful environment, keeping noise levels appropriate, and treating the premises with care.
House21 operates a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, discrimination, and any behaviour that disrupts the wellbeing of the community.
Specific house rules may be communicated separately and form part of these Terms.
Event spaces at House21 are available for booking by both members and external parties. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our events team.
Event organisers are responsible for ensuring that their events comply with applicable laws and regulations, including noise ordinances, fire safety codes, and alcohol licensing requirements.
Any damage to the premises or equipment during an event will be charged to the event organiser. Cancellation terms for event bookings are outlined in the booking confirmation.
Members may bring guests to House21 in accordance with the guest policy applicable to their membership tier. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times.
Guest access may be limited during peak hours or special events. House21 reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest.
All content, branding, and materials associated with House21, including but not limited to the name, logo, website content, and interior design, are the intellectual property of House21 AS. No part of these materials may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
House21 shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property, except where caused by the proven negligence of House21 or its employees.
Members are advised not to leave personal belongings unattended on the premises. House21 accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
House21 shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, government actions or regulations, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes or labour disputes, power failures, internet or telecommunications outages, and supplier failures.
In the event of a force majeure situation, House21 will make reasonable efforts to resume normal operations as soon as practicable and will communicate any impact on services to members promptly.
During a prolonged force majeure event, membership fees and obligations shall continue unless House21 determines, at its sole discretion, that an adjustment or suspension of fees is warranted.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oslo, Norway.
House21 reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email or through the club's communication channels. Continued use of House21's services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
